A 234km bike path around the island opened on Nov 7 after the Jeju governor attended an opening ceremony at Ojo-ri, Seongsan-eup.
The path allows riders to cycle the circumference of the island and get stamped at 10 population tourist spots en route reflecting the popular Jeju Olle ‘passport’ system.
Bikers stamp a passport-like notebook at the unattended certification centers to prove they have completed the circuit.
To celebrate the opening of the path, scores of cyclists cycled down the first few kilometers of the path. |
